Deploying our dsNet^® technology is easy. Our appliances come ready to run, allowing you to store and retrieve your data immediately upon installation.

Each system is composed of several appliances of three distinct types. The dsNet® Manager provides comprehensive operation and maintenance functions. The Accesser® appliance services data requests from applications and performs the IDA calculations as needed, storing and retrieving the “slices” for each data item to and from the Slicestor® storage nodes.

The primary way to deploy a Cleversafe solution is appliance based. Cleversafe appliances are available in defined configurations using hardware to which Cleversafe has ported ClevOS (embedded operating system running on Accesser and Slicestor physical and virtual appliances).

In select cases, it may be possible for customers to purchase Cleversafe appliance hardware directly from Cleversafe’s supplier and software licenses for those appliances from Cleversafe. More commonly customers purchase complete appliances from Cleversafe (hardware and software).
